Not Mommy but, it'll do for now. - A Snuggle Bear helps Bobby through those early days in her new home.

Is this the Tea Cup Ride? -  Bobbie's curiosity started early.

Well, my tail's not in this old box. - Yep, she's got the mask but not the ring tail.

Hmmm, maybe it's under the chair. - Being born a bobbed tail made her unique.  Her loving and playful personality made her Special.

Maybe it fell in the crack. - Look as you may, you won't find a sign of a tail.

No, not there either. - One couldn't help but love that cute face.

Oh well, I didn't need it anyway. -  Cute as button and a little waddle when she walked.

I've got the marshmallow. -  Bobbie had a sweet tooth.

Here's a raspberry for you. - This is where we prepare our babies for release.  This would be a very difficult decision for us.  After all, Bobbie was Very Special.

Got any more of them marshmallows? - Lots of running room, plenty of playmates, and all the sounds of nature to enjoy.

Oh boy, more youngsters to play with! - Though officially released, Bobbie loved to get in the play pen with each season's new babies.  As you can see, the marshmallows are starting to show on her butt.

OK, I've had enough, now let me outta here. -  When she get tired of rolling and tussling with the kids, she'd let us know she wanted out.

What, No marshmallows? - After being released into the wild for over 3 years, Bobbie stayed close to home.  She'd eat on the deck and roam during the evening but, by morning, she'd be back in the safety of the nest boxes in the big pen.

Watch dog? - Weighing in at over 25 lbs., Bobbie was healthy and appeared content to hang out with us.

November, 2004
Or Roofing Supervisor. - As old age began to catch up with Bobbie in her later years, she slowed down and arthritis made here waddle more obvious.  She became a little grumpy and didn't care to have other coons around.   But, she was still Bobbie Jean.
